Jennifer DailPaddling Community Headline News Matt Chebatoris March 9, 2018 News Headlines from around the paddling community Protect Water Access Mission Bay, San Diego is the treasured home of numerous events and recreational paddling opportunities for paddlers around the world. Plans are underway for the Bahia Hotel to potentially expand their footprint and in the process, limit paddlers’ access to Mission Bay. San Diego paddlers have long protested the Bahia Hotel’s planned expansion and have organized a Bahia Point Paddle and Appreciation Day to publicly raise awareness of the issue. To join them, simply show up at 9:00 Saturday morning. All watercraft are welcome. Bring a picnic and plan to spend the day.
